Everything you need to know about Zamarrad — from how verification works to what happens if a trade goes wrong.

Getting Started
Zamarrad is an exclusive B2B trading network that connects verified wholesale distributors with retailers. Unlike open marketplaces, Zamarrad operates on a merit-based tier system where access to higher tiers is earned through performance and reputation — not purchased. Every trader is verified, and the platform provides trade protection, dispute resolution, and transparent pricing across all transactions.
Any legitimate business that operates as a wholesale distributor or retailer may apply. We welcome businesses of all sizes — from independent retailers to large distributors. The application is open to companies with a verifiable trading history and legitimate business registration. We evaluate each application individually and every applicant is reviewed by a real person.
The application itself takes less than five minutes to complete. Our team then reviews each submission and verifies business credentials, typically within 3–5 business days. If additional documentation is required, our team will contact you directly. You will receive an email notification confirming the outcome of your application.
Yes. Zamarrad serves both sides of the trade. Wholesale distributors join to access a pipeline of vetted, serious retail buyers. Retailers join to connect with verified suppliers offering transparent pricing and fair terms. Some businesses operate as both distributor and retailer depending on the product category — this is also supported on the platform.
Membership Tiers
Zamarrad operates three tiers: Normal Trade (Tier 1) is the entry level — open to all verified traders with full platform access, trade protection, and standard dispute resolution. Premium Trade (Tier 2) is earned automatically when a trader crosses the cumulative transaction volume threshold while maintaining a strong trust score. It unlocks lower fees, priority dispute resolution, a visible trust badge, and early access to inventory. Emerald Trade (Tier 3) is invitation-only — extended only by existing Emerald members or the Zamarrad team to traders with exceptional track records. For a full comparison, see our How It Works page.
No. Tier upgrades on Zamarrad are never purchased — they are always earned. Premium Trade is unlocked by reaching the transaction volume threshold and maintaining an adequate trust score. Emerald Trade is never purchased under any circumstances; it is invitation-only and awarded solely on the basis of demonstrated elite performance. This is a core principle of the Zamarrad network and will never change.
Yes. A trader's tier reflects their current standing in the network — not a permanent status. If a Premium trader's trust score falls below the minimum threshold due to dispute outcomes, failed deliveries, or payment issues, their tier may be reviewed and adjusted. We believe this is fundamental to the integrity of the system — tiers must reflect reality, not history.
You cannot apply for Emerald Trade. There is no application form, no payment, and no shortcut. The only way to access Emerald Trade is to receive a direct invitation from the Zamarrad team or a referral from an existing Emerald member. The best way to position yourself for an invitation is to become the most reliable, highest-performing trader at the Premium tier. Do that consistently, and we will notice.
Fees & Payments
No. Transparent pricing is one of Zamarrad's core values. All applicable fees are clearly displayed before any transaction is confirmed. There are no surprise markups, hidden service charges, or fees that appear after the fact. The fee structure differs by tier — with Premium and Emerald members receiving progressively reduced rates as a reward for their trading performance.
When a transaction is confirmed, the buyer's payment is held in escrow by Zamarrad. The funds are released to the seller only when the agreed delivery conditions are confirmed by both parties. This protects buyers against non-delivery and protects sellers against payment disputes. The escrow system applies to all tiers and all transaction types on the platform.
Zamarrad does not charge a flat membership fee for Normal Trade access. Platform fees are applied per transaction, with rates varying by tier. Detailed fee information is provided during the onboarding process and is always visible before any trade is confirmed.
Disputes & Protection
If a dispute arises, either party can raise a formal dispute through the platform. Our resolution team reviews all submitted evidence, contacts both parties, and works to reach a fair outcome. For Normal Trade members, resolution is completed within 48 hours. Premium members receive priority resolution within 24 hours. Emerald members receive immediate escalation. All disputes are handled by real people — not automated systems.
Buyer funds are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed. If goods are not delivered as agreed, the buyer can raise a dispute and the escrow funds will be withheld pending resolution. If the dispute is resolved in the buyer's favour, funds are returned in full. Zamarrad does not release escrow payments based on seller claims alone — delivery confirmation from both parties is required.
Seller protection begins at the point of order confirmation. Because all payments are held in escrow before a transaction begins, sellers are guaranteed that funds exist for every confirmed order. Once delivery is confirmed, payment is released promptly. Sellers are also protected by our dispute process — if a buyer raises an unfounded dispute, the evidence-based review process ensures sellers are not penalised unfairly.
Trust & Verification
Your trust score is a composite metric calculated from real transaction data, including: delivery reliability (did goods arrive on time and as described?), payment speed (was payment confirmed promptly?), dispute resolution rate (how were disputes handled and resolved?), and partner satisfaction ratings (what did your trading partners say about the experience?). Scores are live — they update after each transaction — and are visible to other traders on your profile.
Standard verification typically requires: proof of business registration (company registration number or equivalent), a valid government-issued ID for the authorised representative, proof of trading address, and a brief description of your current trading activity. In some cases, additional documentation may be requested depending on your trade category, volume, or jurisdiction. Our verification team will guide you through any additional requirements after your application is submitted.
Your verification documents and sensitive business information are stored securely and are never shared with other traders or third parties without your explicit consent. Your public trader profile shows only your verification status, trade category, trust score, and transaction history — not your underlying documentation or personal details. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy.
